Hydrostatic Tubing Testing

Hydrostatic Tubing Testing (HTT) is a way in which the pressure of water is used to inspect production tubing while running in tubing into the well. HTT inspects for collar leaks, holes, splits, high-pressure splits, and wall loss (which will result in bursting tubing). AOS uses bar type tools to for its inspection process which are very close in size to actual drift of tubing which will allow the tools to drift the tubing during inspection. AOS also carries a drift tool that can be attached to its bar type tools so that tubing can be properly drifted during the inspection process if needed. AOS has the equipment to test sizes from 1 ½” to 3 ½” including lined and specialized tubing to pressures up to 15,000 psi.

BOP Testing/Pressure Testing & BOP Installation

Blowout Preventers (BOP) are a large, specialized valve of mechanical device, used to seat, control and monitor oil and gas wells to prevent blowouts (the uncontrolled release of crude oil and/or natural gas from a well).
